One of the applications of radar remote sensing is the ability to observe landslide areas. Processing SAR data using the permanent scatterers interferometry method allows you to map the speed of areas covered by mass wasting.

Taking advantage of the opportunities offered by this technology, we had been starting a project that will allow us to manage landslide risk in near real time using ICEYE imagery and terrestrial radars. As part of the project, we work with Gamma Remote Sensing Research and Consulting AG, and ICEYE Polska Sp. z o. o.

The goal of the RAMON project is to design, build and test an innovative landslide area monitoring service using SAR radar data. The service designed under this project will allow for landslide risk management, providing information to users from the private and public sectors.
